Saracens Women have been crowned champions of the English Premiership for the third year in succession.
Their defence of the title means they have become the first women’s club in English Premiership rugby history to retain the title three years on the bounce.
The North London side claimed the title in emphatic style by not losing a single game all season. They also scored an impressive 457 points, 215 points more than their nearest rivals, second place Wasps.
The Saracens team include England internationals Claire Allan, Maggie Alphonsi, Charlotte Barras, Rachel Burford, Amy Garnett and Vicky Massarella who were all part of the England team that were crowned RBS 6 Nations Grand Slam champions this month.
